The social co-operative winery of Poggio Rusco was born in 1946 from a former/previous enopolio. It is constituted by members coming from neighbouring villages (Poggio Rusco, Magnacavallo, Villapoma and S.Giovanni del Dosso) and now it sees 190 members, providing to 32.000 quintals of grapes(1 quintal = 220.461 puonds):the predominant grape varietals used are Lambrusco, Maestri, Marani, Ruberti, Graspa Rossa, Salamino, Ancellotta, Fortana and Trebbiano. The wines may be bought directly at the location of winery and in the main winemarkets and shopcenter of north Italy.
